Strengthening, Supporting & Expanding Florida's Early Childhood Court Clinical Component

FSU is delighted to have had a series of trainings and supports to build a strong clinical workforce for Florida's Early Childhood Courts (ECC). Clinicians trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP) play a pivotal role in healing two generational trauma and breaking the cycle of child maltreatment. We conducted a survey with the ECC Clinical Network to understand issues in serving ECC families and to prioritize topics for webinars, trainings and case consultations. We hope that these supports helped deepen understanding, strengthen skills, and expand clinical expertise in serving ECC families.
